The three PEP faculty were promoted by the University of Florida on July 1.

The fellowship distinction recognizes outstanding SIDP members who have made significant and sustained contributions to infectious diseases and to the organization’s mission.

The award recognizes an individual who has consistently demonstrated enthusiasm for the profession as well as the mentoring and education of pharmacy residents.

Dr. Lindsey Childs-Kean was recognized during the House of Delegates session at the FSHP Annual Meeting in Orlando on Aug. 7.

Dr. Powell was among six faculty members promoted in the UF College of Pharmacy this summer.

As chair, Dr. Farland will lead the college’s largest department, overseeing nearly 40 faculty members across the Gainesville, Jacksonville and Orlando campuses.

Dr. Soucie was honored at a ceremony on April 3, joining an elite group of 20 recipients selected from nearly 200 eligible division winners across the university.

The Clinical Research in Community Oncology Fellowship will launch July 1, in alliance with Cancer Specialists of North Florida.

Dr. Carol Motycka represented the interdisciplinary team at IPEC’s fourth Virtual Poster Fair Showcase on Nov. 21.

Drs. Michelle Farland, Bethany Shoulders and Veena Venugopalan were honored at the ACCP Annual Meeting in Phoenix.
